Designer Series Roller Blinds
Our Designer Series roller blinds are manufactured from the highest quality fabrics imported from the UK. They offer a stunning range of patterns and bold colours. The range even offers blockout and lightfilter fabric. We now stock all of these designs to ensure we can manufacture and deliver within our standard manufacture times.
Double Blinds can be achieved by entering your size for the first blind e.g. the Blockout and then selecting our Double Bracket in the options below next select the colour of the blockout blind and press Add To Cart. Then you will be prompted to select the second blind e.g. the Sunscreen.
PLEASE NOTE THE MAX WIDTHS OF THESE FABRICS AS LISTED BELOW. WE SUGGEST ORDERING ALL BLINDS IN THIS RANGE FRONT ROLL FOR THE BEST LOOK.
Samples
We strongly encourage all customers to order samples of the different blind types and colours they are interested in prior to placing the order. These will be delivered to you within three working days and you can then make your choice and come back to the website to place your order.
Measuring Advice
Use a metal tape measure for accuracy and record measurements width by height in millimetres. For extra advice we have measuring guides that explain how to measure for your chosen product. Please provide an accurate tight measurement, we take the necessary deductions here at the factory.
Size Not Available
Check that you are entering your sizes in millimetres e.g. 1 metre is 1000mm. Alternatively the size you are attempting to enter may be outside of spec (too small or too big). Please also do not add in decimal points or mm.
Multiple Products Ordered
If you have placed orders for various products e.g. sunscreens and venetians in one order, or the same blind but in different colours please be aware that you will receive multiple deliveries. Each department dispatches orders as they are completed. Once your order is dispatched you are notified via email with tracking details.
Non-Rural Delivery
Orders with blinds under 2500mm wide are free if delivered to a non-rural address.
Non-rural deliveries that contain a blind or blinds 2500mm wide and over have a single $30 charge for the entire order (not per blind) due to transport costs.
Rural Delivery
Orders addressed to a rural address have a $10 charge per order.
Rural deliveries with a blind or blinds 2000mm wide and over have an additional single $50 charge for the entire order (not per blind) due to transport costs.
*If you can provide a non-rural delivery address where you can collect items from it is strongly advised for a quicker delivery timeframe.
Once your order is complete and leaves the factory you will be notified via email. You will receive tracking details which you can enter in to the Peter Baker Track and Trace website www.pbt.com to trace delivery. If you have placed orders for various product they will be dispatched separately as they are ready. If you are in our local area we deliver product to your door or you can arrange to collect.
Manufacture Turnaround
Blinds have individual manufacture lead-times, if we are experiencing a particularly busy period that effects the standard turnaround we will list this on the website otherwise standard manufacture time is as follows:
10-14 working days for most blinds
14 working days for Venetian Blinds
20 working days for Roman Blinds
Returns Policy
Once you have placed your order we are unable to refund for change of mind, all orders are custom made. If blinds are proven faulty we will provide a replacement free of charge under the Consumers Guarantees Act.

Warranty
All blind componentry and manufacture comes with a five year warranty. Blind fabrics are covered by individual fabric supplier warranties. In the event of a fabric issue we will contact manufacturer and take appropriate steps to sort out the problem.

FIT
Inside: fitting the blind inside the frame recess
Outside: fitting the blind to the frames architrave or above the frame.
(PLEASE NOTE ON ROLLER BLINDS THE SIZE YOU GIVE US IS TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE BRACKETS THE FABRIC IS 33mm NARROWER TO ALLOW FOR CONTROLS)
XROLL TYPE
Front roll: rolling blind fabric over the front of the tube.
Back roll: rolling fabric over the back of the tube.
Front Roll is best when the fabric has an off-white thermal coating. Or, blinds are going in a bay window. Or, you want to avoid a large handle or window latch.
Back Roll is always prefered if blinds are going outside fit, just make sure to check the coating colour of the fabric first.
XCONTROL SIDE
We recommend selecting the side that has easy access for the user. You may want to choose the side that is away from the opening of windows or doors.
The Driven Link option refers to a roller blind being operated by a chain of another roller blind in the same window. The driven link drives the second blind as you pull on the chain of the first blind so they operate in unison. Select Driven Link for the blind that does not have a chain side.
CONTROL TYPE
Standard type is chain operated for one blind on its own.

XCONTROL UNIT COLOUR
The control unit colour refers to the colour you want the blinds drive unit to be (mechanism that chain rolls through). Generally this is matched in with the blind fabric colour, chain, bottom rail or window joinery. This will also be the colour of the brackets supplied.
XCONTROL CHAIN LENGTH
Control chain length is the length of the chain that operates your blind. The length stated in teh drop down is the length the chain drops down to. The chain must be at least half the drop of the blind. For example if your blind is 1000mm high chain must be at least 500mm.
If your window is height is shorter than the shortest chain option (500mm) please select the 500mm length BUT write a note in the comment section that for the particular window/s what length chain you'd like.
The comment section can be found once you have entered all order details and you are ready to BUY NOW.
XCHAIN COLOUR
The chain colour refers to the colour of the chain which operates the blind.
We recommend co-ordinating colours work best. For example having the chain, drive unit, bottom rail all the same colour and a colour that compliments the blind fabrics or surrounding features in your home.
XBOTTOM RAIL STYLE
The bottom rail style refers to the style and colour of the bottom rail which sits along the bottom edge of the roller blind.
We suggest linking all blind component colours together such as the bottom rail, chain, and brackets, drive unit.
Bottom rails are available in various different shapes Flat, Oval and Round.
XDOUBLE BRACKET
*If you are ordering a single blind for a window this is not required.
If you are ordering two blinds for one window, for example a suncreen roller and a blockout roller you can order a double bracket which is one bracket that holds two blinds. We suggest you order the sunscreen backroll and the blockout front roll so they do not rub on one another when in use.

XLINK SYSTEMS
*if you are ordering a single blind for a window this is not required.
Link Brackets are required when you are ordering two blinds side by side usually to cover a wide window. This is perfect for when the windows or doors are wider than 3000mm which is the maximum of most of our roller fabrics. Link Brackets are centre brackets used to support where the two blinds are meeting. There are a few ways you can order these.
LINK BRACKET NON DRIVEN allows individual control over each blind, you must order a left and right chain for your blinds. The non-driven link allows the blinds to function independent of one another.
LINK BRACKET DRIVEN allows the two blinds to be controlled at the same time using one chain at the specified end.

The Carnival range of fabrics are 100% polyester transulcent fabrics available in a range of vibrant colours, while still offering privacy they also allow light to filter through. They are available as roller blinds in our Louvolite translucent section and also as vertical blinds in the translucent section. This fabric is air freighted weekly from our UK supplier so allow an extra week for delivery.
